Lucy Schaeffer is a commercial photographer who studied painting and printmaking at Yale University. After twelve years working as a photographer she took her first pottery class and fell in love instantly with clay. She now balances her photography career with time in her home ceramics studio in Croton on Hudson, NY. Lucy gravitates to clean lines and bold color and works primarily with stoneware on the pottery wheel.
