Indigo Striped Cotton Reversible Placemats, Set of 2

This set of placemats is made from handwoven cotton by artisan, Roonnee, in Sakon Nakhon Province in northern Thailand. The process of making this fabric is done by hand, from gathering the cotton that grows in the village to spinning and weaving the yarns to the 100% indigo dyeing technique. The reversible design elevates any tablescape and allows for mixing and matching the colors.

Roonnee and a small group of artisans in her village have been making handwoven cotton fabric for generations. Her traditional fabrics are comfortable to use every day and become softer over time.
