This stunning, grand-scale vintage 1960s Murano art glass decanter is executed in the traditional Venetian a canne (cane) technique. It features striking, vibrant vertical stripes of cobalt blue and ruby red, beautifully contrasted against crisp, clear glass. Gorgeous when placed in direct sunlight to catch the dramatic, colorful reflections.
Excellent vintage condition. Features a completely smooth, expertly ground, and highly polished pontil base. The base of the elongated flame stopper features the authentic, rough-snapped pontil scar from where it was detached from the glassblower's rod—a textbook signature of genuine, hand-crafted mid-century Murano production.
